Planning and Environment Law - advice on planning permit applications, advice to assist potential purchasers of land as to the existing land capability and future options, liaison with council and government authorities, advising on matters such as water rights and licences, native vegetation management, illegal works and development, enforcement of environmental and planning laws and applications to review to VCAT.
Family Law - advice in relation to children concerning issues such as residence (with whom the children live), contact (access with the non-resident parent or other significant persons), child support, safety and protection of children and so on, divorce and separation, and property issues and settlement for people in both marital and de facto relationships.
Wills, Probate and Administration of Estates - drafting of powers of attorney, wills and codicils, including testamentary trusts, applications for probate and acting on behalf of executors in the administration of estates. This area also involves acting for parties in testator family maintenance proceedings in the Supreme Court.
Civil Litigation - all aspects of private litigation, ranging from complex commercial and contractual litigation, farming disputes, taxation issues, debt recovery and medical negligence.
